Human Resource Development (HRD) plays a strategic role in the organization

Effective employee training, integral to HRD, aligns with firms’ strategies and is key for maintaining competitiveness and productivity. Measuring the return on training investment poses challenges due to non-random selection for training and the difficulty in finding productivity proxies. HRD’s strategic role includes workforce skill alignment and collaborating with educational institutions for tailored training, ultimately benefiting individuals, organizations, and society.
